A Kailash Kid Is Waiting for You!
Each year a new group of children arrive on campus and take their very first steps as Kailash Kids. What they cannot appreciate in that moment as five and six year olds is just how impactful both Kailash and the HYF community will be in the rest of their young lives. Watching these children, like Dawa (pictured to the right — on the left not long after she arrived at Kailash and then again on the right in 2021), thrive and blossom is without a doubt the most rewarding part of our work over the last 20+ years.
That incredible growth and change would be impossible without our network of global Sponsors though. Each and every child arrives at Kailash already matched with an individual Sponsor who commits to supporting, through both financial investment and mentorship, the next 6-12 years of his or her journey. Along the way, our children and their sponsors form a unique and lifelong relationship.

At $1,950/year our Sponsorship program provides a child with everything they need — from basic necessities like food and clothing, to enriching extracurricular activities, to the best educational opportunities and support. As a Sponsor you receive regular, detailed updates on the progress and successes of your Kailash Kid, and many of our Sponsors enjoy frequent one on one contact via letters, email, and video chat.
